The 2024 RISD Graphic Design Triennial theme is Expiration Date. Together we’ll be examining the intersection between graphic design and temporality, and exploring visual communication in a world of constant reproduction and redistribution. A poster for a concert… A flier for an event… The ephemeral nature of graphic design means there is an inevitable shelf life, and this exhibit is an opportunity to resurrect our formally “expired” projects. All work (class / personal / professional) from the last 3 years from current students and recent alumni is welcome!
